Perspective on a Not-So-Fun Day

Today was one of those not so fun days of homeschooling. A lot of it was my attitude and not so great sleep, but I think sharing the not-so-good is helpful.

I couldn’t get up from co-sleeping without waking up our two littles.

Our homeschool was chaotic.

The dog chewed one of the kid’s new toys.

Now for the good.

Oliver tells me he loves me about 50 times a day.

The 2 year old took a 4 hour nap.

I found some really great books to help with our homeschool and ordered them through the library. I also bought a few I knew we’d like. One is a book on Einstein that my kids adore.

Our oldest volunteered to do the dishes after supper.

On the way home from work, Bryan bought new lumber for my new food storage cabinet and had plans for a new chicken coop.

I have 5 sweet children and one more on the way. And a wonderful husband. And a cozy house full of love and laughter at the end of a stressful day. ❤️
