What’s Really Important

I just love this camera! And this morning, I got a good lesson in caring more about your people than your things.

It was in perfect condition when given to me, but is now all mangled up when one of my kids so happily ran to show his brother and tripped, breaking his fall with my camera. I cried and he cried harder.

I couldn’t let his little heart be broken over something that is not nearly as important to me as him, so I scooped him up and comforted him.

I think we are officially back down to zero perfect belongings, mostly just old and beaten up, second hand things, but I’m really ok with that.
